LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Gov. Pete Ricketts has kicked off Nebraska’s third annual economic development summit with business leaders.
The summit began Thursday with a focus on the challenges and opportunities facing the state economy. This year’s event covers topics including workforce housing and education.
Ricketts highlighted Nebraska’s high rankings for its low cost of doing business, business-friendly environment and low unemployment rate.
The event is organized by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. U.S. Small Business Administration head Linda McMahon spoke was the keynote speaker.
