Listeners to 105.9 FM, KAAQ have probably noticed a weaker signal in the last 2 weeks. This is due to the failure of the large coax feed line on our tower. The feed line runs from the transmitter to the antenna and carries our audio signal. We are now operating on a smaller, back-up transmitter that is operating at much lower power. Listeners can receive our KAAQ signal in the Alliance area, but rural areas will probably not be able to pick it up. You may tune in to 97.5 FM, KQSK and hear the same music and news updates. We are working to get a new feed line in place and back to full power as soon as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
