Kathleen Agnes (Yeager) Rice, 80, passed away Friday April 12th 2024 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 am at All Souls Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Father Tim Stoner officiating. A rosary will be at 9:30 am at the church. Interment will be at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be Friday, April 19 from 4-6 pm at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be given to the church. She was born January 8 1944 to Anthony and Margaret (Neff) Yeager in Alliance, Nebraska. She grew up in Alliance and attended St. Agnes Academy.
She married Robert Rice in July 1965 and to this union a son was born, Tim. Kathleen worked in dietary at St. Josephs hospital in Alliance and as a CNA at the nursing home in Bridgeport. She was a dedicated member of All Souls Catholic Church. Kathleen loved her family and enjoyed sending letters and cards to everyone. She enjoyed listening and singing to her record collection.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister Virginia.
