The Alliance Volunteer Fire Department battled an early morning house fire today, April 29 in the 900 block of Mississippi Avenue.
"Our Alliance Firefighters have already had a long morning with an attic fire," said Alliance Fire Chief Troy Shoemaker. "Thankfully we were able to locate the seat of the fire somewhat quickly, which helped limit the damage."
"Thanks also to the City of Alliance Electric crew and Alliance Police for their help," Shoemaker added. "But, most importantly, thank you to all of our firefighters for the great job this morning. I’m proud of all of you."
