Scottsbluff Police participated in the Drug Impaired Drive High Visibility Campaign and releases statistics

The Scottsbluff Police Department worked overtime on the weekend of April 19 to April 21 to participate in the Drug Impaired Driving High Visibility Enforcement. The overtime was funded by the Nebraska Department of Transportation-Highway Safety Office. The following enforcement contacts occurred as a result of the enforcement:

No Operator’s License 1

Possession of Less than One Ounce of Marijuana 1

No Seatbelt 1

Violate Provisional Operators Permit 1

Violate Learners Permit 1

Failure to Yield Right of Way 1

Texting While Driving 1

Reckless Driving 1

Possess Drug Paraphernalia 1

Open Container of Alcohol 2

Willful Reckless Driving 1

Improper Stopping 1

There were 47 total traffic stops. There were 36 warnings issued. There were 3 felony arrest and 4 misdemeanor arrests.
