The long-awaited opening of the Immanuel Lutheran School will take place today, Wed., Aug. 20.
Parishioners and Contractors have spent the past several months converting the former Skateland Building on East Tenth Street into a Pre-School through 4th grade facility.
The Alliance Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Immanuel Lutheran will hold a dedication service Sunday, August 24 at 4 pm.
Immanuel Lutheran Pre-School Instructor Jill Mueller says, as of August 19, enrollment included 17 students in Kindergarten, 13 students in the combined First and Second grade classroom as well as 13 students in the combined Third and Fourth grade classroom, and 47 pre-school students.
