An Alliance man is one of five men caught in a sex sting operation during the Sturgis motorcycle rally. The Rapid City Journal says the men agreed to pay between $70 and $350 for sex with girls ranging from 12 to 15 years of age.
The Journal reports that 23-year-old Phillip Holden was reported to be in federal custody. He is charged with using the Internet to recruit, entice and pay underage girls into engaging in a commercial sex act.
Their arrests were the result of a joint operation conducted by the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Rapid City Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
