Today (July 21) is the deadline to register for the August 4 wheat production workshop at the UNL Panhandle Research and Extension Center at Scottsbluff. It is free, but registration is limited to the first 80 people
Workshop speakers from UNL, the USDA, and Kansas State University will provide the latest research-based information on challenges facing wheat producers in the high plains, including wheat stem sawflies, kochia, virus and moisture.
The workshop will run from -3 and is intended for producers, consultants and extension educators. Certified Crop Adviser credits are pending, and there will be a steak sandwich lunch. To register, contact Pat Martin at firstname.lastname@example.org or 308-632-1276.
