Renovation of the City of Alliance Utility Office is now complete. The office now provides complete handicapped accessibility. An automatic door, wheel chair accessible counter and restroom facilities have been installed.
“Another addition that we are very happy to provide to the public is a ground floor meeting area,” said Finance Director/Assistant City Manager Randy Waggener. “This gives our neighbors the option to select an entrance to the building that best suits their capabilities and provides our staff an area to address their needs.”
The Utility Office staff will be moving their office equipment from their temporary office back into their regular office on Friday, May 2. The office will close at noon while the equipment is being moved. Customers may use the drop box located on the south side of the building. The Utility Office will open the doors in their newly remodeled space on Monday, May 5.
