Dear Parents and Students:

As April is quickly winding down the activities continue to pick up, it seems. The track meet scheduled for Thursday in Gordon has been changed to Friday, however, due to scheduling conflicts our students will no longer participate. St. Agnes will travel to Morrill on Saturday for the Panhandle Conference Meet. The team will leave at 7:30 AM. Good luck Crusaders!!

The 8th grade went to Dollar General and purchased items for their service project trip to South Dakota this morning. All donations will be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30th. The 8th grade and Mr. Glesinger will leave from school at 7:30 AM.

Wednesday, April 30 is National Walk at Work Day. During the day we’re asking everyone to walk and get some exercise. The teachers can arrange different times to take the children on a walk around the playground. The Wellness Council is promoting wellness activities because statistics show that fit children make better learners.

Thursday, May 1, we will not have Mass but we will have May Crowning at 9 AM in the Gym. Students are asked to bring flowers for Mary. They can be either real or artificial flowers. The students will place the flowers in vases, by classes and present them to Mary during the celebration. After May Crowning, the 4th grade will wind the Maypole. Make sure and join us for the festivities.

The pizza sales chairpersons from Parents Inc. would like to thank everyone who helped with this fundraiser. It you purchased pizzas, sold pizzas or helped distribute the pizzas we are thankful for your participation. It was a huge success! Top sellers were the Baker/Rodriguez family, the Libsack family, the Sanders family, the McCance/Clyburn family and the Shannon family.
