MILSAP, WISEMAN, COCHRAN SET FOR COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME

NASHVILLE (AP) — Ronnie Milsap says he wanted to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame not for himself, but for all the songwriters, musicians and fans who say their lives are in his songs. Milsap will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame with the next class, along with Mac Wiseman and songwriter Hank Cochran. Wiseman calls his induction the icing on the cake and the highlight of his career. Cochran is known for writing dozens of hits including “I Fall To Pieces” and “Make The World Go Away.” He died in 2010. The hall of fame inductions will take place later this year in Nashville.
