TRISHA YEARWOOD PUTS HOUSE ON MARKET

NASHVILLE (AP) — Trisha Yearwood is selling her home and it appears to be breaking her heart. Yearwood tells The Tennessean she’s selling her home outside Nashville because her husband, Garth Brooks, also owns property there and it doesn’t make sense to keep hers. She says the house has all the charm of an older one but all the bells and whistles of a new one. She’s been cleaning it out preparing for the sale and she says she’ll be sad to let it go. The house sits on four acres and is 6,553 square feet. It’s listing for $2.2 million.

JAKE OWEN BRINGS HIS ‘DAYS OF GOLD TOUR’ TO RAPID CITY

CBS DOMINANT IN RATINGS WITH COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS 

NEW YORK (AP) — CBS is dominant again in the television ratings, led by a country music awards show, a season finale and the network’s usually sturdy regular schedule.

Fourteen of the Nielsen company’s most-watched 20 programs last week were on CBS. The comedy “The Big Bang Theory” led the way with 17.7 million viewers. Sunday’s airing of the Academy of Country Music Awards drew 14.17 million viewers.

The series finale of “How I Met Your Mother” had a series high of 13.13 million viewers, but did little to boost the prospects of the comedy that debuted directly after it. The ensemble comedy “Friends With Better Lives” had 7.6 million viewers.
