Dear Parents and Students:

I hope everyone had a relaxing spring break. March has arrived.., already. The school year is flying by. The fourth quarter begins next Monday.

All St. Agnes Academy students will be bringing home a booklet about on-line safety and the proper use of mobile devices and apps. It is our hope that families will use this booklet as a jump start for discussion about these very important circumstances that may arise due to the use of technology.

Congratulations to the March calendar winners: Kathy Zilmer, Dylan Horton, Natalie Adam, Gina Briggs and Ellen Feldges. Each winner receives $75 and all are from Alliance.

If you have not returned your pizza fundraiser order forms, please turn them in ASAP.

Kindergarten roundup will be held April 10 & 11. If you know of a student interested in attending St. Agnes please urge them to call school and get enrolled.

Grocery Kart receipts are still being collected. They must be dated between September 1, 2013, and March 31, 2014. Please send yours to school soon as they must be collected, totaled, bundled and mailed by April 14, 2014. Thank you!

I want to mention to parents of our female students that leggings and yoga pants can be worn on dress up day—or any day—but the shirts/tops worn with them must be long enough to reach fingertip length.

Letters of intent went home last month. Although we have received most of them we have several that we have not heard back on. If you have not returned yours, please do so ASAP. You can give us a phone call as well.

A few important dates to remember include State Math Counts. This will be held in Lincoln on March 22 and St. Agnes qualified as a team. Also, pizza pick-up day will be March 26, in the Parish Center Gym. Finally, our Spring Musical, “Beauty and the Beast,” will be held in the Parish Center Gym on Thursday and Friday, March 27 & 28.

Have a great week,

Theresa Parker, Principal
