TEEN CHALLENGE BOYS RANCH NEAR ALLIANCE CONTINUES PREP WORK (With Audio)

The Teen Challenge of the Midlands Boys Ranch on the Oregon Trail, located 17 milies south of Alliance, continues to upgrade its campus.

Andy Company of Broadwater purchased the Nebraska Boy’s Ranch from the Snow Redfern Memorial Foundation in May, 2011, and the donation of the campus to Teen Challenge was finalized in June.

Previously, the Nebraska Boy’s Ranch operated from 1965 until 2010, and served over 900 youth from across the country. .

Teen Challenge Boys Ranch Executive Director Dan Meinert says it is the goal to begin housing 16 boys this fall, and facility preparation continues.

Teen Challenge expects to house boys from all across the United States beginning this September, with an expected enrollment increase in the fall of 2015, with boys who have battled drug and alcohol abuse.


Meinert says that Teen Challenge is in need of both financial donations and prayer. He says it is Teen Challenges belief that they will become a solid Alliance entity.
