Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) announced that sack lunches will continue to be available for clients that previously visited Closer to Home. Funds donated by St. Patrick’s Church in Chadron will purchase the ingredients for the sack lunches and employees of Northwest Community Action will prepare the meals.
Starting on Monday, February 17th, sack lunches will be distributed at the Refuge, 139 West Second Street in Chadron. The lunches will be available Monday – Friday, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.
The Refuge created by Mike and Shanna Miller, Shawn and Jodi Banzhaf and other community supporters. The facility is a place where groups can host private and community events.
Leaders of the Chadron community are actively seeking a permanent replacement site and funding to serve a hot meal to the hungry residents of our community. Information will be distributed soon regarding how Chadron residents can become involved in this project.
