Eagle Communications…the parent company of KCOW, KAAQ, KQSK, and KCNB…has purchased two regional cable television systems from Kearney-based USA Communications. The systems serve Central City, Neb., and Burlington, Colo. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled to be passing the ownership of our systems on to Eagle Communications,” said Chris Hilliard, CEO of USA Communications in a statement. “They are a great homegrown Midwest operator just like us. We are confident that they will take good care of our communities and our employees.”

We will bring the ‘Eagle Experience’ to these areas with affordable and user-friendly Cable TV, Internet, and telephone service combined with customer focused support.”
Eagle Communications, based in Hays, Kansas, is a broadband services and media company with more than 270 employee-owners.
It operates cable television systems and radio stations in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Colorado but also offers e-business solutions, web hosting, high-speed Internet, telephone service, rural wireless Internet and digital services in most service areas.
New York City telecom, media and technology investment bank Waller Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor to USA Communications on the transaction.
