Chadron’s Caring and Sharing Christmas program distributed its Christmas boxes over the weekend and is now focused on the annual Christmas Day Dinner, which runs Wednesday from noon till 1:30 at the Assumption Arena.
There will also be home deliveries and coordinator Linda Yuradi would like to have reservations in by noon Tuesday by calling her at 432-3569. Those who’d like to help or donate toward the meal or the program can also contact her.
Yuradi emphasizes that the Community Christmas Dinner isn’t just for those who might not be able to afford a traditional holiday meal, it’s also for any who wants to celebrate at least part of Christmas with others in the community.

The Chadron Christmas Dinner will once again feature a traditional menu of ham, turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, vegetables and dessert.
With the weather forecast calling for highs around freezing and wind chills around zero, Yuradi is expecting a good number of deliveries.
