Hemingford Bobcats _ 2013-14 ImageOn the heels of a Class D-1 football state runner-up, the Hemingford Bobcat Boosters are spearheading fundraising efforts for projects pertaining to the football program and facilities, to hopefully be completed within the next year.  The goals include:

1. Repaint and refurbish football helmets
2. Construction of two more booths to the Crow’s Nest at the football field, as well as a new concession stand and restroom facilities
3. Improvements to the football field, including re-sodding and re-crowning the field

On Sunday, December 15, a “Pizza with the Bobcats” party will be held at Sam & Louie’s Restaurant in Alliance. Tentatively, the football team is scheduled to be in attendance from 3 pm to 5 pm, and all are welcome to come dine with the boys and their coaches. The owners of Sam & Louie’s — Will and Sam Hall — have agreed to donate a percentage of the day’s sales to our fundraising effort. The Boosters thank them for their generosity!

An account has been established at the Hemingford Community Federal Credit Union. Donations can either be mailed to the credit union (PO Box 991 in Hemingford), or dropped off during regular business hours. Checks should be made payable to “Bobcat Field.”   Anyone with questions should feel free to contact Ron Wood, at (308) 760-7155.
