The Alliance Jills Women of Today will host its annual Santa’s Helpers program on Sunday, December 15 at 6 pm at the Alliance American Legion.

The program targets underprivileged children between the ages of 4 and 11.

At the party, each child picks out a toy for himself/herself and a gift for every member of their family. Members of various community organizations wrap the gifts.

Trees with the children’s ages are on display at Parker, K-Mart and Shopko. You are asked to select a tag from the tree, purchase a gift, wrap it, secure the tag to the gift and return it to the original location to be distributed at Santa’s Helpers. The children will also enjoy cookies supplied by RSVP and Pepsi products.

New toys may be dropped off at Steph’s Studio at 210 Box Butte Avenue. Monetary donations may be sent to the Jills at P.O. Box 121, Alliance, NE 69301.

Santa’s Helpers is not associated with the Toys for Tots program.
