NOT GUILTY PLEAS ACCEPTED IN ALLIANCE CHILD PORN AND THEFT CASES

An Alliance man has pleaded not guilty to seven felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Box Butte County District Court Judge Travis O’Gorman set trial for 65-year-old Jim Parks during the February 3 jury term.

Also in District Court Thursday, 40-year-old Tera Gasseling pleaded not guilty to felony charges of theft and forgery.

Gasseling is accused of stealing roughly $5,000 from the Cattle Capital Rodeo Committee between January 1, 2011 and March 14, 2012.

Both Parks and Gasseling have retained Scottsbuff attorney Tylor Petitt, and both individuals are free on bond.

Pre-Trail conferences for Gasseling and Parks is scheduled for January 6.   Both remain free on bond.
