ANNUAL FALL SCIENCE DAY THURS AT AGATE FOSSIL BEDS NM

Agate signThursday is the 5th Annual Fall Science Day at Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, with elementary students from all the grade schools in Sioux County taking part.

This year’s focus is paleontology with programs and hikes throughout the day led by the Agate Fossil Beds rangers and by Shane Tucker, salvage paleontologist for the Nebraska Department of Roads.

.  The students have also been preparing presentations in their classrooms for the Fall Science Day and will share their work at 11:00.
