UPPER NIOBRARA WHITE NRD SUB DISTRICT ONE CONSISTS OF SOUTHEAST BOX BUTTE COUNTY AND SOUTHERN SHERIDAN COUNTY.

The Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District is searching for a replacement for longtime board member Jim Irwin. Irwin announced his retirement from the NRD Board of Directors at the September 2013 Board Meeting.

Irwin represented the Southeastern Box Butte and Southern Sheridan Counties area of the NRD for 41 years.

The candidate selected will be appointed at the November, 2013 NRD board meeting to serve until January, 2015. The candidate’s term will also be up for election during the 2014 primary and general elections.

Letters of interest will accepted by mail until October 11, 2013 and can be sent to UNWNRD, 430 East Second Street, Chadron, NE 69337.
