LOS ANGELES (AP) - “The Voice” is back — fresh off its Emmy win for best reality show. But the high-fives will have to wait. Last night’s show was taped before Sunday night’s Emmy ceremony. “The Voice” is now doing the blind auditions. College student Matthew Schuler made show history. He got all four coaches to spin their chairs within seconds after he started. He goes with Christina Aguilera, who picks up one other singer. Adam Levine picks up three including a guy who looks like an Apple Store nerd. Actually, he does work in an Apple Store. CeeLo Green gets two singers, while Blake Shelton gets his first of the new season.

It’s the ballroom equivalent of dropping an end zone pass. Former All Pro wide receiver and Super Bowl champ Keyshawn Johnson is the first to go on this season of “Dancing With the Stars.” The judges said he improved in the second week, but he won’t get another chance on the dance floor. He didn’t have the lowest scores, but Johnson couldn’t pull in enough viewer votes to stay a contender. He says he’s come a long way for a guy who couldn’t even bob his head in time with the car radio.
