National Forest Advisory Board Meeting, Wednesday, September 18th
Custer, SD – The September 2013 meeting of the Black Hills National Forest Advisory Board is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the Forest Service Mystic Ranger District Office, 8221 South Highway 16, Rapid City SD 57702. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. and end no later than 5 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
The Black Hills National Forest Advisory Board was established, consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, to provide advice and recommendations to the Black Hills National Forest on a broad range of forest issues such as forest health, travel management, forest monitoring and evaluation, forest plan revisions or amendments, recreation fees, and site-specific projects having forest-wide implications.
Topics on the agenda for the September 18th meeting include: Motorized Trail Permits, Recreation Facilities, the Mountain Pine Beetle Response Monitoring Report, and the Black Hills Regional Mountain Pine Beetle Strategy.
