SMITH NAMES 6 PANHANDLE STUDENTS TO YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

Adrian SmithWashington, DC – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) recently announced the names of six area high school students who will serve on his Youth Advisory Council for the 2013-2014 academic school year.

Area Youth Advisory Council members include: Kristen Fellhoelter of Bridgeport High School; Elizabeth Darnell and Maaryn Davis of Chadron High School; Brian Doll of Gering High School; Stephanie Alfred of Mitchell High School; and Logan Woodward of Scottsbluff High School.

Smith’s Youth Advisory Council is a forum for high school students to discuss opinions, thoughts, and concerns with Smith about local and federal issues.  Through in-person meetings and other contacts, the Council provides students an opportunity for involvement and insight into their government and communities.
