– 24-year-old Paul Riso of Alliance was ordered to serve 18 months to three years in prison for felony burglary. On March 2, 2013, Riso broke into the offices of Western Sugar in Alliance and stole a laptop computer. Riso will be eligible for parole in nine months.
– 22-year-old Anthony Adamson was placed on probation after pleading guilty to a felony marijuana charge.
– 44-year-old Daniel Walton of Alliance entered a plea of guilty to a reduced charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance (meth), a class one misdemeanor. The state had originally charged Walton with a felony, but reduced the charge in exchange for his guilty plea. Sentencing is set for October 9.
