Moore Oklahoma #2

Alliance High School student Flor Acosta is collecting supplies for children who were affected by the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma Monday afternoon.

In particular, Flor would like donations of coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, blankets, and teddy bears.

As you know, the Tornado hit and destroyed many homes and businesses as well as an Elementary School.

You can drop the items off at at 211 Sweetwater Ave, which is next to the Viaero Wireless Store, or Flor says she can pick them up. Give her a call at 760-9197.

Flor is hoping to send the items to the shelters by next Tuesday, May 28.

If you have ANY questions call, 760-9197.

Also, Sara Leisy of Alliance will be traveling to Oklahoma to visit her husband who is working an hour from Moore, and she is taking a U-haul that we hope to fill with non perishable food items, water, blankets, clothing, toiletries, or even dog food.

The last day of drop off will be this Friday, May 24, as they will be leaving Saturday morning for Oklahoma.

You can drop items off at Kodee Wignall’s home at the Towers at 423 Boyd, from 9 a.m to 12 noon through Friday, or at Sara Leisy’s home at 1312 Platte, or with Kendra Schott at Cover-Jones Motor Company.

    Hi,
I have 40 plus pillowcases decorated by a group of campers from a recent church camp. They all have a Christian message on them. Would you be able to give these to any children or could you refer me to someone who might do this? Thank you.
