NEW YORK (AP) — A former member of Destiny’s Child is the latest act to land a gig as a judge on a singing competition show. Kelly Rowland will be part of the team evaluating talent on Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor.”
Also joining the mix is Latin recording star Paulina Rubino. The two will be on the show when it starts its third season on Fox this fall — and will replace Britney Spears and record producer L.A. Reid.
Rowland and Cowell have worked together before. She was a judge alongside Cowell for a season on the more successful British version of the music show.
