The threat of rain yesterday afternoon pushed the Alliance High School graduation ceremony indoors at the Performing Arts Center A full house looked on in the auditorium while a huge overflow crowed viewed the ceremony in the nearby commons area on a big screen.
This year’s class valedictorian and salutatorians took time to salute the people who had an influence on their young lives.
Valedictorian Kacey Horn acknowledged her teachers at the Alliance St. Agnes Academy and Alliance High School.
Co-Salutatorian Ellie Applegarth saluted her parents, while Co-Salutatorian Jaycie Sward spotlighted the many friends she had made during her four years at Alliance High School.

Alliance High principal Dr. Pat Jones acknowledged several seniors who had been awarded scholarships, and four other seniors who will be entering military service.
