The Students For Recycling Contest for the month of March is almost over. As of the 15th of March, St. Agnes Academy has collected over 4000 lbs. of recyclables. Please continue to take your recyclables to the Recycling Center in the alley across from the Western Heritage Credit Union. When dropping off your recyclables, remember to tell the staff you are dropping your items off for St. Agnes. The Contest runs until May 31. Thank you for the support and Think Green!
Grocery Cart Receipts dated from 9-01-2012 through 3-31-2013 are still being collected until the end of March. Please send them soon!
Congratulations to all who competed in The Stars of Tomorrow Contest. We had many St. Agnes students and St. Agnes graduates who shared their talents. Among the winners were current students Cherokee Purviance, Ryley Rolls and Wade Sanders. I am so proud of all who competed. Thank you to John McGhehey for being the Masters of Ceremony. It was truly a selfless act on his part, his kids were home for his birthday.
Prayers are needed for many family members of our St. Agnes staff. Mrs. Kaping and Mrs. Smith have both had their mothers in the hospital recently. Rose Schmeits is still waiting for a liver transplant and Mitch Weare is still in the hospital in Denver. Please keep your prayers coming their way.
The Candy Sales fundraiser is officially wrapped up and we are pleased to announce that it was another very successful year. Thanks to all the families who participated in this great money making event for our school! We would like to congratulate the Colton and Addison Lewis family for being the top sellers and winning a $50 Scrip gift certificate. 2nd place and a $30 Scrip gift certificate went to the Crayten and Emersen Cyza family. 3rd place and a $20 Scrip gift certificate to the Peittyn and Bailey Johnson family. The third grade won the overall class prize by selling the most bags. They will be awarded with a pizza party towards the end of the year. Congratulations and thank you so much for your support of this fundraiser!

The K- 8 Spring Music Program is scheduled for April 11, at 7:00 PM, in the Parish Center Gym.
All Alliance (both SAA and APS) eighth grade students and their parents will meet with AHS officials at 7 PM on Monday, April 15, in the PAC. This is an informational meeting and class registrations will be distributed. Travis Hawk will visit the SAA 8th grade classroom on Tuesday, April 16, to collect the class registrations and answer any additional questions. It is very important that all 8th grade students and at least one parent attend.
Kindergarten Round-up is scheduled for April 25th and 26th. If you know of any children that will be five before July 1, 2013, please encourage them to come to St. Agnes Round-up.
School dismisses for the Easter Break at 3:20 on Wednesday. Classes resume on Tuesday morning, April 2.
