ALLIANCE ST. AGNES REPORT – MARCH 19

Dear Parents and Students:

I hope you had a wonderful extended spring break. I hope the flu has run its course. As of today, all teachers are present and only 6 students are missing. Before the break we had too many staff missing to find substitutes and about 1/4 of our students were missing. So I think we are on the road to recovery. Thank you for being flexible and understanding.

It’s not too late to order the St. Agnes Academy school yearbook for 2012-13. The 8th grade class and Mrs. Gould have worked many hours with Jostens to prepare a quality product that SAA families will enjoy for years to come. Many businesses and families have sponsored the project making it more affordable for families and friends of SAA. A list of those sponsors is available on Mrs. Gould’s homepage. This information and yearbook order forms may be accessed at http://bbccatholic.com/mrs-laurie-gould/home. Please click on the link under Documents to print. The ordering deadline was extended due to illnesses and Spring Break, but no orders will be accepted after Friday, March 22nd. Payment of $20 must accompany the order. Please contact Mrs. Gould or Mrs. McGhehey with any order questions.

Zach Placek a sixth grade student at St. Agnes participated in the Wyoming Winter State Swim Championships. He swam the 50 free, the 100 free and had a personal best in the 200 free. He also anchored the 400 relay open class. Way to go Zach!

Report cards will be sent home on Friday with your children. Some of the lower grades have already received theirs, but the majority will be coming home Friday— please check with your children.

There are two changes to the track schedule. The meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, will now be in Chadron, on Tuesday, April 9th, with events starting at 3:00. The team will leave after lunch at 12:40. The Torrington Meet on Saturday, April 13, will start at 9:00 instead of 8:00. The team will leave at 6:30. With a

large number of students participating, many drivers will be needed for the meets. Contact Mr. Glesinger if you can help or if you have questions.

Congratulations to the cast, crew and staff that participated in “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Jr.” You worked hard and performed well. Thank you to Mrs. Wood and Miss Deaver and everyone that helped with this play.

The Spring Music Program is scheduled for April 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center Gym.

Kindergarten Round-up is scheduled for April 25th and 26th. If you know of any children that will be five before July 1, 2013, please encourage them to explore the possibility of attending St. Agnes.

Sincerely yours,

Theresa Parker, Principal
